Pre-victory Lane Celebration: Held up three fingers in honor of the founder of DEI, Dale Earnhardt Sr. Saturday marked his birthday. Grabbed the flag, saluted the fans and performed some doughnuts.

Burnout: Very nice tribute to DE.
Victory Lane Celebration: Climbs out of car and sprays and is sprayed with Busch beer.

Additional Notes: It was cool to see the old Dale Earnhardt colors win again. It was Truex’s third straight win at Talladega. Also, Truex accidentally left his HANS device sitting on top of his car after retrieving the checkerd flag. When he drove away it fell off. I am sure some person had to retrieve it.

Victory Lane Celebration: Harvick doused the camera and Steve Byrnes with a whole bottle of coke. Harvick was hit with Gatorade from his crew.

Additional Notes: Waits in car to climb out until cue then sprays Steve Byrnes with Coke. Apparently Harvick told Byrnes he would do this if he won his third NASCAR race in a row and the pit reporter got what was coming to him.

The fireworks on the backstretch allowed FOX to switch to another camera to clean off the wet lens.

Harvick joked about not letting Richard Childress come to another race. Harvick has won every NASCAR race he has entered since the team owner has been in Africa on safari.
